7-31-2008 - Today we mourn the loss of a Racer, a Friend, a Husband and a Father. Jamie "Iron Man" Walker was taken from us in a tragic accident today that also left his son, Stephen, injured. Stephen has come through surgery and is progressing well. Please keep Julie, Tanner and Stephen in your hearts and in your prayers throughout this terrible ordeal.

Jamie was the "Ultimate Bracket Racer" who lived for the sport and strived to make it better in all aspects. He was the bracket racer with more sponsors than a pro and was able to keep bringing more and more to the table for the racers at Carolina Dragway. We have changed the name of our message board to the "Jamie"Iron Man" Walker Memorial Message Board" in honor of our #1 poster! Please be sure to visit it and leave a message for Jamie and the Walker Family.

Our lives changed forever today and you will never be forgotten by your Family at Carolina Dragway. You are loved and you are missed!
